Are you ready for an adventure of a life-time? Every summer, we as a church and a community embark on what we call the Great Adventure, and you can get involved in many different ways.

Every summer, dozens of youth students are sent out all over our community to take the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ to kids and their families! They play fun games, perform exciting skits, and most importantly, they share the gospel with kids who live right in your neighborhood! Here are a few ways to support this mission to our community:

1. REGISTER FOR BOOT CAMP (June 5-9): If you have a youth student, get them registered for BOOT CAMP, our summer training retreat for Back Yard Bible Clubs. We’ll be at Hill Country Bible Church Pflugerville where we’ll be partnering with their church to reach communities in the area.

2. SUPPORT THE BYBC TEAMS: Prayerfully consider supporting our students by providing prayer/scholarships so they can participate in Boot Camp. Consider this: the students we help send to Boot Camp will immediately come back ready to share the gospel with kids in our own neighborhoods. To support a student, contact Phill Kwon by emailing him:

3. HOST A CLUB (June 19-22): Kids and their families can’t hear the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ from our BYBC Team unless they have a place to go for clubs! Host a club this summer, just a couple hours each day, provide a little snack for the kids, and talk with other parents in your neighborhood. Share in the mission! Reach your neighbors!

4. BECOME A DRIVER (June 19-22): Do you have a vehicle? That’s pretty much all you need to be a part of the Great Adventure, transporting our BYBC teams to and from their clubs.

Support Go Trips: This year, we’re sending our church to three different Go Trips: Inner City Austin, Prison Ministry, Camp Blessing Special Needs Camp. Our teams are in need of prayer and financial support, and we as a church have the awesome privilege of participating in the mission with them by supporting these missionaries as they go push back darkness this summer!

GO Austin- theBranch and The Well are partnering together with Mission Possible:Austin to spend the week of July 9 – 14 downtown, sharing the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ with kids and their families. We’ll also be involved in Mission Possible’s elder-care and homeless ministry. During the evenings, our team will be praying over the city, and seeking God’s vision for our future church plant in the 02!

GO Prison- On July 22nd, WBCC will be sending people to prisons in San Antonio to share the life changing reality of Jesus Christ with inmates. For information and to sign up, check out

GO Blessing- TheBranch will be sending a team of students to Camp Blessing July 17-22, a camp for kids with special needs. We’ll be serving as councilors, work crew, and medical staff. Being the hands and feet of Jesus has never been more fun! For more information on Camp Blessing, check out

Summerfest (June 23 from 7:00-9:00PM) “After Back Yard Bible Clubs are done, our church will throw a big celebration at the Wells Branch Recreation Center for our entire community! For more information, contact Ben Dion at

Fourth Fest (July 4, beginning at 10am)- “ Come and join us as at Katherine Fleischer Park as we celebrate Independence Day with a parade, games, food, and music. We’ll be scattering ourselves among the community to build relationships and invite people to get connected with our church.

Movies in the Park- “Looking for a fun family outing? The community will be hosting movies in the park once a month during the summer.  The dates are June 17, July 15, and August 19.  Each movie is family friendly and begins at Katherine Fleischer Park at sundown. Come and meet your neighbors, build relationships, and share the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ!
