I recently went to prison. Did that get your attention? I was among a large team of people who spent a Saturday in the prisons in order to serve the inmates. I really didn’t know what to expect, but I knew I wanted to be an instrument of God’s love and grace to the women there. I knew the prison…
A letter Matt Anderson wrote on his recent mission trip to Tanzania. Enjoy! “At the 3rd hut, a lady named Debora Israel accepted Christ after I fumbled through the gospel. I was amazed that God took my mumble jumble and made it sound so beautiful to her that she desired Christ..” I wanted to take a few minutes to share…
As a young adult pastor, the question of “should I go see this movie?” comes up a lot from well-meaning friends who want to make wise decisions with what they watch (and how they invest their money, given the outrageous cost of going to the theater now). “And I will give you a new heart and I will put a new spirit within you.” Ezekiel 36:26 My name is Catie Warrick, and I was saved by Grace on February 24th, 2013. This is my story. I was the girl that you’d see on 6th street wearing my own version of a Pretty Woman outfit. My heels all…
