Yet somewhere in the drudge of everyday life, we start to lose our relationship and never seem to understand why. In this day and age, marriage is seen as a contractual, “serve me” sort of mentality. If our spouse doesn’t fulfill our every desire, it’s time to find a new one. In a culture of serial monogamy, we have detoured away from God’s intention for marriage.
