The Book of Ruth is most notable for the love story between Ruth and Boaz. In fact, single Christian ladies everywhere are in search of their “Boaz.” However, the emphasis of the book is not on the love story between this couple, but rather God’s unfailing love for his people. This is most clearly seen in the character that the author most developed: Naomi. Naomi experiences highs and lows. She cries, whines, is depressed and hurts. She is like you and me. We have a lot to learn from Naomi concerning God’s unfailing love.
